The Ministry of Health of the Orenburg Region, with the support of the Health company, organized the Orenburg interregional seminar with international participation “Interdisciplinary approach to the treatment of patients with multiple injuries.”
The seminar was attended by specialists from the regional Ministry of Health, teachers from the medical university, and practical healthcare specialists – traumatologists, orthopedists, surgeons, and anesthesiologists-resuscitators.
The lectures were given by outstanding specialists in the field of polytrauma treatment: Roger Simmermacher, head of the surgical department of the central medical hospital of Utrecht (Netherlands) and Andrei Nikolaevich Mironov, head of the traumatology department of City Clinical Hospital No. 36 in Moscow.
During the seminar, modern approaches to the diagnosis and treatment of patients with multiple injuries, issues of anti-shock therapy, surgical treatment, emergency measures for injuries to the chest, abdominal organs, and eye injuries were discussed.
All participants were awarded certificates of completion of the seminar.
